Electrum is a natural alloy of gold and silver and is often referred to as "green gold." Each rug I make is one-of-a-kind in a wabi sabi way. I try to use natural fibers as much as I can and recycled mill sample fabrics for backs. The rugs are not sheared; I prefer the more natural texture of the cut pile yarns. The designs are original and hand-drawn, hand-tufted and handsewn by me, Liz Folk, in Amherst, MA. I hope each creation finds a loving home and delights many eyes and feet.
