Bubbles float through this joyful rug spreading happy colors. The cut pile yarns are 5/8" high blending blues, greens, yellows, browns, corals, red, white purple and wheaty orange on a creamy tan background. The yarns are 90% wool and 10% cotton. Each rug I make is one-of-a-kind in a wabi sabi way. I try to use natural fibers as much as I can and recycled mill sample fabrics for backs. The rugs are not sheared; I prefer the more natural texture of the cut pile yarns. The designs are original and hand-drawn, hand-tufted and handsewn in Amherst, MA.
